Quiche is a savoury pie of French origin. It’s a pastry crust filled with a mixture of milk and eggs. You can add all kinds of ingredients to it. In this recipe we’re going to propose shrimp seasoned with garlic sauce. The result is a light and tasty main dish, which is perfect when we have guests.

Heat the garlic sauce & Sauté the shrimp
Heat the Grand Krust garlic sauce in a pan. When the sauce is hot, add the shrimp and sauté for 1 minute. Then set aside.
Prepare the filling
While pre-heating the oven to 200ºC, mix the cream, the milk and the eggs in a mixing bowl and add a little salt, white pepper and a dash of nutmeg.
Make a crust with the pastry dough
Press the pastry dough into a baking tin and trim any excess.
Place the shrimp & Add the filling
Spread the shrimp over the pastry dough.
Add the cream, milk and egg mixture.
Sprinkle with cheese and bake
Sprinkle Emmental cheese on top and bake the quiche for 45 minutes.
When the quiche is golden brown, it’s ready to be removed from the oven and served.
