Shrimp triangles

This recipe for shrimp triangles allows us to make a delicious appetiser in only 30 minutes. It’s ideal for a special meal. If you like, you can use the same method with other kinds of seafood, too.

Ingredients

FOR 4 PEOPLE

  • 1 box of Argentinean red shrimp 400g Grand Krust
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 1 egg
  • salt

Step by Step

Peel the shrimp
Peel the shrimp without removing the head.

Assemble the skewers
Skewer the shrimp and season to taste.

Wrap the shrimp in puff pastry
Cut the puff pastry into small triangles and wrap the shrimp.

Brush the triangles with egg
Brush the triangles with a beaten egg.

Bake the triangles
Put the triangles on a covered baking tray and bake at 180ºC for 15 minutes. When the time’s up, remove the triangles and they’re ready to serve.

Tips Practical Advice

You can season the triangles with whatever spices you like as they will adhere to the pastry quite easily.
